TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

  1. Season and Surcharge:
    • Low season is on January 11 – June 30 and September 11 to December 19
    • High season is on July 01 – September 30
    • Peak season is on December 19 – January 10
    • Special holidays such as Chinese New Year and Easter fall under the HIGH category.

 

  1. Villa Capacity:
  • Super Deluxe Villa (#1 & 2) Maximum occupancy of four (4) – 4 Adults.
  • Deluxe Villa (#3) Maximum occupancy of (4) – 4 Adults.
  • Royal Villa (#4) Maximum occupancy of (8) – 8 Adults + 2 Children

 

  1. Fee’s & Charges:
  • Villa’s 1 to 4 are inclusive of ‘In-Villa’ daily breakfast (not on discounted rates unless specified).
  • Laundry & Dry Cleaning service can be provided by Villa 8, at the expense of the guest.
  • A private chef service can be arranged, at the expense of the guest. Note that Villa 8 requires time to arrange this service.
  • Please kindly advice should you require airport transfers. Airport transfers can be arrange at US$12++ per car per way.
  • Complimentary WiFi internet in each villa included in all rates.
  • Rate is subject to 11% Government Tax and 10% Service Charge.

 

  1. Payment Procedures & Confirmation
  • To guarantee your reservation at Villa 8, a 50% deposit must be paid within 4 working days.
  • The 50% deposit is to be paid using either 1 of the below payment options:
    • Payment by cash:
      • Payment by Cash is to be paid directly to the Villa 8 office.
      • US Dollar currency is accepted. Due to strict Indonesian bank regulations, US Dollar notes baring serial a code starting with C, DB, DH are not accepted. US Dollar notes dated 1996 or earlier are not accepted. Note that all banks in Indonesia will not accept these notes. Local money changers will accept these notes but you will receive a lower exchange rate on the day.
      • Indonesian Rupiah is accepted (at the buy rate on day of payment).
    • Payment by bank transfers:
      • Villa 8 has the right to charge USD25.00 per International Transfer. This fee is charged by our bank in Bali to receive the funds.
      • Any other bank transfer fee’s are for the account of the paying agent and/or guest.
  • Payment by credit card
    • Payment by credit card is subject to a 3% surcharge.
    • Card accepted : VISA , MASTER CARD , AMEX , JCB , DINNER
    • Villa 8 will require guest information to process any credit card transaction.
    • A Booking Confirmation & Invoice will be forwarded to the agent. This will contain a field to complete with the following guest information:
      1. Credit Card Holder Name
      2. Credit Card Validity
      3. Credit Card Number
      4. Credit Card Type
      5. Signature of Credit Card Holder

 

  1. Check in and check out:
  • Our check in time is 14:00h and check out time is 12:00h.
  • Late check out can be arranged but must be approved beforehand by management and is subject to availability.
  • Late check out until 18:00, will be 50% charge from daily villa rate
  • Late check out after 18:00 is considered as extended 1 night stay.

 

  1. Damage:
  • In the event of damage to villa property caused by the guest, Villa 8 requires full payment of the replacement value of the damaged item prior to check out.

 

  1. Parties
  • In Indonesia, it is customary to inform the local village head of any major events – this includes parties at villas. Accordingly, we do require advance notice – preferably before the guest arrives – of any function they may wish to host at the villas. This does not apply obviously to smaller private functions and dinner parties, but more to groups of 15+ guests and some banjar fee will be applied .

 

  1. Quite Occupancy
  • Villa 8 is located in a premium residential area. Your/our guests are required to maintain levels of noise and activity compatible with the exclusive environment of the villa. This applies particularly at night between 8pm and 8am.

 

  1. Responsibility
  • Please be advised that Villa 8 are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal equipment and property during the guest’s stay, or during participation in any activities during their visit to Bali. We will not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside of our control such as late arrival of International flights, civil disturbances, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of government, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.

 

  1. Cancellations
    • Cancellations are required in writing by fax or email.
    • If a cancellation is made more than 60 days from check in, the deposit will be refunded minus a cancellation fee of two nights stay and a 10% administration fee and any bank charges where necessary.
    • Any cancellation received within 30 days prior to arrival is subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% deposit of the entire booking/number of nights reserved
    • Cancellation within 24 hours prior to arrival/no show and early check out are subject to 100% of the entire booking/number of nights reserved.
  2. Other
  • Any rates negotiated between Villa 8 and the guest are strictly confidential and the guest must not disclose this information to any third parties
  • Once the form is complete, Villa 8 require the guest to fax the form back to the Villa 8 office on fax number +62 361 735 295 along with credit card authorization form, photocopy of card holders passport and credit card (front and back sides). Once this information is accepted, we will process the transaction with the bank and your booking is then confirmed.
